Liberated

The chains are broken and they fall.

I can move my arms when hope fills me.

I can breathe when love is always and forever with me.

I can walk freely when I recognize the truth.

I am not bound by sinful chains;

though I walk a narrow path,

at least my feet aren’t dragging,

unlike those who choose others.

These three things: hope, love and truth,

can break any cage

and mend any heart.
